Motorcycle Carburator Synchronization
Part of a major tune-up for multi-carburator bikes. Your bike will idle smoother and respond quicker. Fuel-injected bikes can also get their starter valves synched as well. Price varies upon model, and how much plastic you remove for us beforehand.
If you have an older multi-carburator (CV type) motorcycle, you may want to re-synch them once a year. Carburator synchronization is simply the process of adjusting the carburators so they pass the same amount of fuel/air mixture to each cylinder. This is done by measuring the vacuum produced in each cylinder. Carburators that are out of synchronization will result in decreased fuel mileage, increased engine temperature, less than ideal throttle responce and higher vibration levels.
